About ‘Foggy sunrise at Reeuwijkse Plassen’ by Original Mostert Photography

Maasvlakte beach or Slufter beach is a wide sandy beach on the Maasvlakte created in 1987 along the Slufter, a large-scale depot for the disposal of dredging spoil. The beach is popular among water sports enthusiasts, who can use the beach all year round. Dogs are also allowed all year round. Furthermore, it is also a nude beach. The beach can be reached from Rotterdam via the A15/N15 motorway. From August 2009 to early 2012, the "Slufterstrand" was closed due to the construction of the Second Maasvlakte. In spring 2012, the new recreational beach became publicly accessible. Three spacious parking areas were created. Artist Jan Konings designed a beach crossing consisting of three staircases (with steps varying in height) leading to the Maasvlakte 2 recreational beach.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
