About ‘Follow the path to the mudflats’ by MdeJong Fotografie

As I walked up the beach near Harlingen, I was hoping for a spectacular sunset. Unfortunately, the sun disappeared behind a blanket of clouds.

However, the moment before sunset was fantastic! The quietness during low tide, the daylight slowly giving way to darkness. The sun using its last rays to color the sky.

This photo lets you see and feel the peace and space of the mudflats. The floating dock was quietly waiting for the tide to come in again.

This photo really fits anywhere. The living room. the bedroom, at the office, in the waiting room, the consulting room, the cottage or maybe even the toilet! ;)
