Protogoniomorpha parhassus/Forest Mother-of-Pearl (woodland pearl moth)
The Protogoniomorpha parhassus/Forest Mother-of-Pearl gets its name from the spectacular colouration of its upper wings. In the dry season, they look pearly white with black tips and red eye spots. When the wet season arrives, their wings take on a more greenish-white colour with a beautiful violet sheen.
