The inspiration for this work was a quiet moment in a natural garden, in which the forget-me-nots, in their typical restraint, nevertheless developed a strong visual presence. I was particularly interested in the interplay of colour, light and structure - a motif that works through its simplicity.
With this picture I wanted to create a calm, almost poetic atmosphere. It is about visualising things that are often overlooked - about the beauty in small things and the power of memory. The message lies in the constancy and quiet presence of this plant, which despite its delicacy appears steadfast.
In interior design, this plant brings a soft, cool colourfulness to the room. It is particularly suitable for calm, restrained design concepts and creates a connection between naturalness and clarity - ideal for rooms that promote concentration and serenity.
