About "Fountain on Karl-Marx-Allee"

About the artwork

The picture shows a central fountain installation on Karl-Marx-Allee in Berlin, an urban landmark of the former GDR. Geometrically arranged water basins with active fountains can be seen in the foreground, creating a dynamic and structured composition. The fountains are surrounded by a paved square that is used as a public space. In the background are two symmetrically arranged residential buildings in the style of socialist classicism, with light-coloured facades and a regular window structure.

The architecture dates from the post-war period and is characterised by monumental design elements that reflect the political and cultural history of East Berlin. The clear blue sky and uniform lighting emphasise the contours of the buildings and the movement of the water. The composition is orientated frontally and shows a clear division between public space, architecture and urban infrastructure.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
