Francesco del Cossa (circa 1430 or 1435 - 1477) was an Italian painter. He is often regarded by connoisseurs as an important representative of the Ferrarese School. Furthermore, del Cossa is believed to be the founder of the Bolognese School along with Ercole de Roberti.
