I created this screen print of Friday Kahlo in the style of the famous pop art artist Warhol. Frida is royally portrayed after a young Queen Elisabeth, but her piercing gaze betrays an independent and autonomous character. Frida is the most famous female South American artist and perhaps Mexico's best-known artist. Her difficult and eventful life filled with illnesses, affairs and connections with high-ranking figures in Mexico made her a unique artist whose hallmark was her exuberant eyebrows, often depicted as unibrows.
