Evening atmosphere at the Duisburg Rhine Bridge at the "Blue Hour". The hustle and bustle of everyday life seems so far away ...

The Friedrich Ebert Bridge connects the districts of Homberg and Ruhrort. It is a main traffic artery in Duisburg. Every day, countless cars and bicycles cross the Rhine here, at the same time hundreds of ships pass by. It is almost centrally located in the port of Duisburg, the largest inland port in the world.

One has a magnificent view from the bridge. The Ruhr promenade is directly in front of you when you come from the Homberg side. Before that you have a great view of the mouth of the Ruhr into the Rhine with the sculpture Rhine Orange. Also Poseidon, the great statue by Markus Lüpertz, is right in front of you on Mercator Island and greets the passing ships. A staircase leads down from the Friedrich Ebert Bridge. Several harbor canals are in view. There is constant shipping traffic. The Mühlenweide and the Binnenschifffahrtsmuseum are also in the immediate vicinity.

The bridge is also architecturally interesting. The bridgework has a total length of 635 meters. The two pylons are striking. On the Ruhrort side, there are still two historic bridge towers reminiscent of city gates.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
