Friedrich Stoltze (* 21 November 1816 in Frankfurt am Main; † 28 March 1891) was a German poet and writer. He was a journalist and publisher in Frankfurt am Main and throughout his life he campaigned for the national unification of Germany and for a democratic and republican state. Although the majority of his work consists of political writings, he is best remembered by the public in his home town for his poems in Frankfurt dialect. Stoltze's main work is the satirical weekly Frankfurter Latern, which he published from 1860 until his death.
