About "From the Matrix"

About the artwork

I took a picture of the sunlight and caught the pink/lilac colors. As I was working on this photo, I came across a shape that reminded me of the Matrix.

To my surprise, I also came across symbols and I added those as additions.

The Matrix, the set of imposed rules and structures, are deeply integrated into us and hinder us from seeing who we really are. Learned survival strategies, coping mechanisms, adopted patterns of thinking and acting and the like often form a "prison" preventing us from feeling free.

This work is about freeing ourselves from this prison. The background of the Matrix is formed by lines, soft colors and symbols. The sun and sunlight is an important source of information and knowledge to gain insight about our true selves. Codes can also contain keys that can open (activate) our potential.

Looking at art (forms) and being creative also opens the mind and strengthens intuition. To detach from limiting and inhibiting beliefs, being creative and relaxing and very helpful.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
