About "Fruitful Balance"

About the artwork

Playful and lively composition focusing on citrus fruits, leaves, a glass with ice cubes and a wine bottle. In the same cutting art style as the previous image, this work also exudes a sense of simplicity, fun and seasonal abundance. The shapes are stylised and flat, reminiscent of Matisse's work, with a harmonious distribution of space and colour.

Although the colours are reminiscent of a summer setting - with fresh yellows, soft greens, lavender blues and terracotta reds - the work can also be read as a transition to early autumn, when the last citrus harvests are brought in and the season slowly tilts. The presence of the glass of ice suggests another hint of warmth, but the use of colour remains soft and earthy, befitting the late summer and early autumn feeling.

The composition exudes festivity, tranquillity and balance. The alternation of open and closed shapes is striking, allowing the eye to constantly find new routes in the image. The lemon with segments forms a subtle centrepiece that adds movement and freshness to the further rounded shapes of oranges and leaves.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
