In my free time, I enjoy getting out into nature, going for lovely walks and enjoying everything nature has to offer. I often take my camera along to capture funny and sweet little birds, not literally, of course.
This work is inspired by one of the many photos I now have of birds. Bearded birds and the Plague bird are particular favourites because of their distinct markings, which make it seem as if they have real facial expressions in their heads.
This makes them perfect for humorous and authentic images, especially for a children's room.
But it will also definitely come into its own in a living room and add an artistic flair. It will certainly be an eye-catcher and provide food for conversation.
For this work, a conscious choice was made to use calm earth tones as the overtone, with warm tones like yellow and orange in the details.
This makes this funny bird almost come to life.
The quote below certainly applies to this humorous and artistic work:
"A canvas ballet, artistry pirouettes emotions into visual poetry."
Give your home a quirky and artistic feel with the characterful flair of these artworks, which transform any space into a unique work of art in itself.
