As you may know, I live in Mallorca and I love it. But from time to time I miss various foods, like sauerbraten. (I know, you can get that here too, but just not in the supermarket around the corner). At home, sauerbraten was always served with dumplings and red cabbage. Since it was time for a new veggie lady anyway, I took red cabbage as my theme and was very quickly thrilled by the wonderful colour but also by how wonderfully it can be processed. The lighting and different layer modes make it look like a strange precious fabric that is decorative and cuddly at the same time. Note that because of the lighting, you can glimpse her arms underneath. The headdress is almost reminiscent of a helmet. For me personally, this is the image of a beautiful and powerful woman from another galaxy. (Somehow it makes me think of Dune "the desert planet". Don't ask me why.) And of course I couldn't resist and matched her eye colour to the red cabbage. If you like it a bit dramatic, you will love to take this picture into your home. This work was created in Photoshop. I drew the lady on a Wacom tablet. The red cabbage leaves are different photos. The largest one in the foreground and background was taken by Frauke Riether, whom I would like to thank for providing it free of charge.
