A number of crow ducks sat in succession on an autumnal day. The sun was shining and provided soft colours on the birds and water during sunset.
Using a slow shutter speed added dynamism to the photo and created a slightly softer background.
Despite the slow shutter, it is easy to see that the birds in this case are crake ducks.
Ronald Buitendijk started a few years ago with photographing animals he was looking for. With great pleasure he goes looking for wild animals to put them on film. Of course this is done in a way to disturb the animals as little as possible.
