About the artwork

The Rila Monastery is one of the most beautiful sights in Bulgaria. Besides, it is also very beautifully located in the middle of the mountains.

The Rila Monastery beautiful monastery is located at an altitude of 1147 metres in the Rila Mountains and dates back as far as 946. In 1986, it was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Rila monastery is the second largest in the Balkans and at its peak had cells for 500 monks and 1,000 bedrooms for pilgrims.

The walls of the Rila Monastery are decorated with more than 1,000 religious frescoes'and the interior of the church is also stunningly beautiful. We feast our eyes! I can understand why Rila Monastery is one of Bulgaria's most famous sights.

If you go to Bulgaria, this monastery is an absolute must, and visiting the Rila Monastery is free too! (For enthusiasts, there are a few more museums to visit and you do pay for them).

Just in the corridors on the outside of the main building, I could spend hours looking at all the details and colours of the wall and ceiling paintings. Very special to be able to see this!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
