Carl Grossberg (Elberfeld, Wuppertal, Germany, September 6, 1894 - Laon, France, October 19, 1940) was a German painter. He is considered part of the Neue Sachlichkeit movement. Grossberg studied architecture in Aachen (Regierungsbezirk Cologne in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia) and Darmstadt (Hesse) and later in Weimar, Thuringia. In 1921 he moved to Sommerhausen near Würzburg, Bavaria.
