Gelderse Waard in late evening light ion autumn 2025. This beautiful polder is mostly nature reserve with a nice circular walk where you not only walk but also twice have to pull yourself to the other side of a river with a tow ferry.
These cows in the foreground partly catch some light from the low-lying sun with a wide polder panorama behind them. Above them, beautiful Dutch skies like the ones Jan Voerman Sr (1857-1941) - painter in Hattem - painted on his famous paintings on the river IJssel.
As a true cloud lover myself, I very much enjoyed this moment with this beautiful evening light and of course could not resist capturing it with my camera.
