In the geothermically active area of Námafjall / Hverir in Iceland, steam is coming out of the ground. They are big plumes of steam if you look at the two people in the middle. Also the ground is warmer here so the snow melted and it was very muddy. Because it was foggy I was able to take this picture against the sun very well. A strange experience to walk through such a landscape with the smell of rotten eggs....
