On days like March 7, 2022, it pays to get up early (not that I've ever been bothered by that).
The rising sun brought a soft glow over the Zaanse Schans.
Lack of wind and the clouds moving away made for a beautiful mirror.
These are days that do not come around very often and you have to take them.
Fortunately I had that day off from work.
Normally there are several photographers present, but not on this day. I was the only one.
For this shot I held the camera just above the waterline.
With the wide angle lens at 14mm, you have a wide perspective.
The perspective is not common and offers a new view of the beautiful Zaanse Schans
A smooth water surface and a walker did not let this moment of the day pass by either.
It is always a pleasure for both hiker and photographer.
