Gold and obsidian bell-and-clock sculpture

by TheXclusive Art

The ‘Bell-Clock’ sculpture, a gold-obsidian artwork, brings the elegant form of a classic bell to life in a sleek and refined portrayal, in which a gleaming, curved bell-shape – with one half in polished gold and the other in deep black obsidian – combines to form an impressive scene that feels both serene and powerful. This exceptional artwork showcases smooth, mirror-like surfaces down which a sharp streak of light runs; the focused light and the long shadow cast upon the burgundy background capture the form in an artistic and contemporary manner. The shades of gold, coal black and wine red lend the piece an exclusive aura that subtly yet powerfully reflects the tension between warmth and darkness. The seam in the centre divides the bell into two contrasting halves, whilst the wide base anchors the piece firmly in place and the soft glow of the dark background draws the eye entirely to the silhouette.

The deep burgundy combined with the shimmering gold makes this piece a striking choice for a luxurious, modern or atmospheric interior. On the wall of a living room, dining room or hall, it adds richness and ambience, whilst above a sofa or in a grand hallway, it serves as a striking focal point.

Lovers of design, metallic accents and minimalist forms will find in this artwork a silent clock that lends a touch of luxury to any wall.
