About the artwork
"The golden structure of a lantern with turquoise background" is an extreme macro photograph of a lantern of a lantern plant (Physalis) that has almost decayed. The orange berry can be vaguely seen behind the vein structure of the outside of the lantern.
This makes it look like the berry is trapped behind some kind of trellis. The light falling on the lantern, the processing and the natural colours of the lantern and the berry create a warm image.
The colours give me a warm autumn feeling.
The focus in this photo is on the texture of the outside of the lantern, where the orange berry can be seen in the background. Further back, the lantern fades, creating depth in the work.
This work could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the bedroom, kitchen, hall or just above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office waiting room or practice room!
