Standbeeld van de Lamoraal Graaf van Egmont (1522-1568) in de slotgracht. De Lamoraal heeft er in 1565 voor gezorgd dat de Egmondermeer polder voorzien werd van dijken.
Op de bomen ziet u de rijp die zich na een koude mistige nacht heeft gevormd. Dit biedt een schitterend schouwspel met zacht licht van de opkomende zon erbij.

Egmond aan den Hoef, Netherlands
Kim Visser (1977) and Olof van der Steen (1978) both grew up and still live in the Egmonden. Since their early childhood they have been good friends and a few years ago they started taking photographs together. What started as a hobby has now grown into a professional occupation. Over the years they have taught themselves new photographic techniques and much knowledge was gained at the Fotovakschool in Amsterdam. nature and landscape photography is their main specialty.
