Wall art on the Canary Island of Tenerife. The graffiti is on a quay wall in the fishing village of Los Abrigos, small seaside village on Tenerife's east coast. Its beautiful warm colours lend themselves well to a colour photograph, it makes the picture pleasant to look at. You can see in the foreground several fishing nets drying in the sun in pink, red, orange colours. Behind it on the quay wall you can see the graffiti, which depicts the madonna with the child on her arm with high waves painted behind it. What is not in the picture but is a nice detail, is that on the very long quay wall there is a lot of different wall art, in the picture out of focus so. I deliberately cropped the photo square to create a nice balance/composition in the somewhat busy image of graffiti and fishing nets and calm sky. I removed some blemishes here and there with Photoshop, also lightened some dark areas and saturated the colours slightly to make it look like a sunny, warm photo. There is another stripe of graffiti below where the sky starts, that was painted on another wall as there is another quay on top. The photo would look great in a warm interior but it would also be just right as an eye-catcher in an environment with little colour. It is actually a photo that would fit in any interior.
