Around 1925/1936, the Japanese Ohara Koson produced his "Coal Tit bird on a paulowniatak".
Ohara Koson was a Japanese painter and designer of woodcut prints of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, part of the shin-hanga movement.
In 2021, I used his cabbage tit to make it into this cheerful and colorful vintage collage. I did this with great pleasure and respect for the original artwork.
