About ‘Greek hollow road’ by Nop Briex

A steep building road beside the olive grove on Marmari Beach in Loggos on the unspoilt idyllic Greek island of Paxos. On top of the hill, room has been made for a beautiful traditional house to be built. Paxos, the island where I lost my heart since 1988 to the beautiful olive groves, cypress trees, white "pebble" beaches, azure-aqua-coloured seawater-filled bays, high cliffs, sea caves and sweet Greek villages. The delicious smell of olive wood and the salty Ionian Sea.

An island where ordinary cosy families and the world-famous jet set celebrate their summer holidays. Mundane yet just simple and local. No mass culture here. This beautiful work portrays the island of Paxos at its best. Dreaming away and musing on the pleasantly warm summer sun and the wonderful Greek atmosphere.
