Acme (Paris) and Plaque (Cologne)
he street artist Martin Liebschner, known as "Plaque one", born and raised in Dresden in 1980 and currently based in Cologne, looks back on a career of over 25 years as a graffiti and street artist.
His works captivate with clear forms, colours and contrasts and create a balancing act between the traditional and modern of European graffiti culture. His main focus lies in the abstract form of calligraphy and his works are difficult to press into formats such as canvas or frame. Large format productions in open space correspond to his ideal of artistic freedom.
In cooperation with well-known companies in the industry and a strongly networked cultural scene, extensive projects have been developed in recent years in Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Switzerland.
