Green Red Current Berries 0424 - Red currents are tender, tart red berries which ripen in early june. This year they seem to grow earlier. Already the tiny green red current berries have a nice size. In this stage it truly shows its DNA since the red current is from the gooseberry family.
The green unripe red currents are draping vertically down its bush. They are a limegreen color with a cream colored blossom still on top of their heads. The green currents look like tiny pearls.
The view of this macro photograph is at eye level. The berries with their flower crowns are pointing to the right side. It is a warm Spring afternoon and the sun on the left side of the red current bush.
I hope you are enjoying my visual garden safari. Thank you for visiting. I am adding work all the time, so make sure to check back often.
