The Bald Vulture, very photogenic bird of prey.
Occurs mainly in southern Europe, around the Pyrenees and in Africa.
It is a vagrant over the Netherlands, but is visible almost yearly in large groups.
Sometimes up to hundreds of individuals!
Very beautiful bird.
Few feathers in the neck area, as they quite often get into a cadaver while eating, it is not convenient with many feathers.
The soft background (Bokeh) makes the vulture stand out and gets all the attention.
I could look at this for a very long time, what beautiful details!
The wingspan of a griffon vulture is enormous, up to 2.75 mtr, also with the weight which can run to 10-11 Kg.
