The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao - Spain was designed by the American Architect Frank Gehry. It was first opened in 1997. The building is largely covered with scaled titanium plates that should ensure that the building can shine for a hundred years. The many glass walls are constructed to protect the many works of art from heat and sunlight damage. All this makes this building one of the greatest works of contemporary architecture. This photo is of a part of the building at the back, where little public is walking.
Koos Sohns (1950) is a Dutch Hobby photographer from Zutphen. His first holiday job was at a photo finishing plant, where he earned his first Praktica SLR camera. Through study, work, family and volunteer work, photography was somewhat pushed into the background.
