Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Hamnoy’ by Desiree van Oeffelt

Hamnøy, a beautiful fishing village on the Lofoten Islands, Norway. A famous view with the distinctive red fishermen's cottages in the foreground and a steep mountainside in the background. Very briefly, the sun came out, literally spotlighting the red cottages. Photo was taken in winter 2025.

Dutch nature and wildlife photographer, 42 years old.

I like to photograph during hikes in the Netherlands, during road trips in Iceland and Norway, occasionally the birds and squirrels in my back garden. But what I really love is going high into the swiss mountains over challenging mountain paths and alpine routes and find places not many people go to. Places where nature is untouched, lakes are formed by melting snow and wildlife can live in peace.
