Hans Fredrik Gude (Oslo, Norway, March 13, 1825 - Berlin, Germany, August 17, 1903) was a Norwegian landscape and marine painter. In 1842 he was admitted to the Düsseldorf Art Academy. Schirmer left there to become director of the newly founded art academy in Karlsruhe.
