About ‘Heather plant in Winter’ by Linda Bouritius

The grey roots and the brown overgrowth interspersed with the last remaining light brown buds of the heath give this image a beautifully subdued, yet colourful whole. The sculpture shows the beautiful dividing line between where the strength of the roots give life to the plant and how its flowers prepare for the winter.
