Portrait of Hedy Lamarr, a Hollywood star who was mostly appreciated for her glamorous appearance. While in addition, she was a very intelligent person who made a brilliant invention at the time of WWII. Her invention ("frequency hopping") helped the Allies during WWII (among others) and has changed all communication systems to this day. It has led to wireless communication technologies such as WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It was only late in her life that she gained appreciation for this.
