In the past, during vacations on the Veluwe, I regularly 'borrowed' my father's or big brother's camera to capture a row of posts along the bicycle path or a lonely tree on the vast heathland. Photos in which my parents raised their eyebrows questioningly when they were finally printed, well after the vacation.
When I was about 14 years old I got my first camera, an old Practica TL-5 and shot my own…
