The Herengracht was the most prominent canal in Amsterdam in days gone by. This is still clearly visible in the many stately canal houses. This picture shows the Herengracht at the level of the Roman Catholic church De Krijtberg. The foreground shows a parked scooter and a lamppost, behind that the canal and the characteristic canal houses and the spire. This work is available in both colour and black and white.
