The heyoka is a kind of sacred clown in the culture of the Sioux of the Great Plains of North America. The heyoka is a contrarian, jester and satirist , who speaks, moves and responds to the people around them in contradictory ways.
And this is how I often feel. Like a clown, critical of many things that come out as so-called "truth" but also able to look at these untruths with humour. I am someone who likes to walk outside the lines, is contrarian and definitely does not fit into "the box".
