Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘High tide along the dike near Dalem’ by Bert-Jan de Wagenaar

The Merwede is flooded. The dike can take it. After a lot of rain the sun comes through the clouds. A beautiful scene, dramatically lit by the light beams of the sun obscured by dark clouds. The low vantage point makes the beautiful picture even more exciting.

Bert-Jan de Wagenaar

Netherlands

Bert-Jan de Wagenaar (1974), photographer, graphic designer, artist, musician.
In the 1990s he studied for a number of years at the art and graphics academy. There he was taught the craft of (then still analogue) photography and graphic design. In the end, he decided on a career in music and the camera and felt-tip pens disappeared into the closet.
In the end it seems that blood is thicker than water and he has taken up the camera and pens again.
