About ‘Hike to Saksun, Faroe Islands’ by Sebastian Rollé -nature & landscape photography
Saksun, on the island of Streymoy in the Faroe Islands. A small 17th-century village with 14 inhabitants, situated at the end of a kilometre-long single-track road in a quiet bay. You can hike up the mountains on either side and enjoy beautiful views over the bay. The path was slippery due to the rain, but well worth the effort!

I am a photographer based in the Netherlands who loves to travel to beautiful places on this globe. I love hiking with my photography gear, whether it is at home or far away, good or bad weather. Sunsets, islands, panoramic views, rainy forests: you can count me in. I hope to inspire other people with my pictures and give a sense of the beauty our world with my travel prints.
