Hilversum's town hall is a beautiful building with lots of lines. In the dark with the lights on it, it stands out even more. The building was designed by architect Willem Marinus Dudok. He designed many buildings, but the most important is the town hall, which dates from 1928. During World War II, it served as Wehrmacht headquarters.
Between 1989 and 1995, the building was restored in its entirety.
