About ‘Hip hop heaven 2’ by Ruud van de Wiel

With a lot of feeling, I portrayed this tough rapper vulnerably. The spotlight behind his head forms a halo. This effect is meant to take the viewer into his dreams as an artist, so to speak. His good intentions, his legacy. Sometimes people are misunderstood for how they look. This rapper is brimming with feeling and talent. During this shoot, we put on his music and it put us in the mood to create this work unique image. Hip hop heaven is part of a four-part shoot.

Technically, not 1 of the easiest works I have made. You can see a spot on the background and a spot on his face. For the spot on his face, I made a funnel shape with cardboard and attached it to the lamp, to create a very subtle and isolated light.

This square artwork could be an eye-catcher in any room. And it makes everyone think.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
