"Holding a Tree of Life" is inspired by getting older. We all get it, only the extent of time is relative. I myself am in the age bracket of mid-50s, almost over it so almost heading towards 60. Does that scare me? No, not really. I don't care much about my wrinkles, nor do I dye my grey hair. On the contrary, I emphasise it more. I am proud of it. Proud of the fact that I have life experience, which doesn't mean I have all the wisdom. But I do know by now what I want and what I don't want.
Getting older is a natural process we all go through. It is a time of reflection and growth, where we learn from our experiences and find our own path. It is a chance to enjoy the little things in life, appreciate what we have achieved and look to the future with open eyes. It is a time to embrace who we are, with all our scratches and flaws.
I look back on the years that have passed with a smile and with anticipation for the years to come. I am grateful for the lessons I have learnt and the people I have met. Growing older is a gift, an opportunity to grow and flourish. It is a journey I welcome with open arms, with all the highs and lows that come with it.
"Holding a Tree of Life" is more than a work of art; it is a symbolic representation of life itself. It embodies the power of ageing, the beauty of life experience and the value of self-acceptance. It is a reminder of the importance of celebrating life, regardless of age. Discover the deeper meaning behind this work and be inspired by the timeless wisdom of ageing.
