This is "the symbol" of Costa Rica, the Red Eyed Tree Frog. The photo was taken in Ojochal Osa Peninsula at an altitude of 360m. They are Difficult to find and certainly not mating. I found them near the pond in the grounds of our rental house. Really 'shot in the wild' so. After a long time in Costa Rica, I now know what the Red Eyed sounds like, so to find them you have to go by the sound and look carefully. I personally like the detail in the eyes and the lucky look the best. This photo was taken with a high-resolution Sony A7RV (61 mega pixels!) and barely cropped. So the photo can be printed large with no problem while retaining detail.
