About ‘Ice cream at snack bar’ by Hans Lok

The summer days are over, the sky over the sea no longer turns blue but is a mixture of the various shades of grey that indicate that more wind may be coming, that storms may be on the way or that it will rain. Soft at first and then steadily harder and harder. But inspite of everything, at the snack bar on the dune, the big plastic soft ice is outside to indicate that it is a good place there to take shelter or get warm with an ice cream or a bag of chips after all. At the same time, this then gives a sense of satisfaction that despite the gloomy weather, the beach walk was made and the fresh breeze and air on the skin was still enjoyed.

Most photographs are created intuitively. It is an image that strikes me, usually a combination of form and color in which a part of reality is framed into an image. The result is a fitting form.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
