Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Ice cubes on skin in black and white’ by Retinas images

This minimalist black-and-white photograph shows a close-up of skin with small ice cubes and drops of water. The cool cubes sit on the body as bright accents, contrasting with the dark background. The extremely tight framing limits the context, creating an image that verges on the abstract: the focus is on the skin, its sheen, the rhythm and the subtle contours of the body.

The light is carefully directed, making the ice cubes and droplets stand out clearly against the deep shadows. This creates a powerful interplay between warmth and cold, softness and sharpness. The monochrome processing enhances the graphic effect and lends the photograph a understated, timeless atmosphere. The image remains sensual, but is particularly compelling due to the textures and the tension arising from the simple composition.

This photographic artwork fits beautifully into a modern interior with a minimalist, dark or wellness-inspired aesthetic. It pairs well with natural materials and muted colours, for example in a bathroom, bedroom or private space. A distinctive choice for lovers of artistic nudes, abstract body photography, water, ice and stylish black-and-white art.
