During our trip in Canada we drove on the impressive Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park to the north. At one moment, the road makes a hairpin bend (recognizable because it is the only one hairpin bend on the road!) And shortly thereafter a normal curve. Most people whiz past this point, but if you just stop and get off on the broadening of the ordinary curve, you have fantastic views over the gorge and the road you have driven before. On the left flank of Cirrus Mountain and on the right the beginning of Mount Saskatchewan. The peak in the distance is Mount Coleman. Besides the Icefields Parkway meanders the Sunwapta River. You can also see the tiny cars on the road?!?
