About ‘Iceland, Hengifoss waterfall’ by Caro Hum

Hengifoss is a waterfall in eastern Iceland. At 128 metres high, it is one of the highest in the country.
It is a landmark at the end of a hiking trail. In the foreground, you can see the water flowing away.
The rock is composed of layers of lava and layers of ferruginous clay. This gives the typical red colour to the rocks.
