This work was made on 30-10-2023 in Iceland.
Me trip to Iceland was a trip never to forget.
When I saw this image I knew this is what I have to capture such'an opportunity won't come again soon. My tripod set up with my camera with polarisation filter and a 10-stop nd filter.
The plan was to use a slow shutter speed to make the water look like a blanket, but still keep the speed of the water in it. So no white spot and also no freezing (fast shutter speed).
The power and beauty of nature comes into its own in this image. Definitely stood watching for half an hour after my shots.
I also have this work hanging on my wall myself and can still get lost in it and think back to that moment.
