Bring it on that summer! What a lovely picture. As you can see, beach life actually hasn’t changed that much in sixty years. You still rent a beach chair and a parasol in Italy, if you want to have some luxurious sunbathing. Jeu-de-boules in the sand: they did it then and we still do it now. And also in the 1950s apparently there were photogenic salespeople selling snacks and useless articles. What would this woman have in her cart? Unfortunately we can not see.
