I wanted to take this photo series for a long time, sunrise in Domburg overlooking the Manteling. As a native of Domburg, I don't come to 't village' very often anymore. Too busy, too restless, too much. A morning walk during sunrise is something else. Only one other Domburger I came across. I could quietly do my thing.
When I turned around, I saw this. You can see here the view of two unique buildings, 't Haventje and the Watertoren.
The sun is rising and the sky first turned orange, then pink, purple and blue. Pastel in the sky. On the left and in the foreground you can see the Manteling, a unique nature reserve where deciduous trees grow close to the shore and, as a walker, you can see as many as 1,000 things.
Behind the Water Tower is Domburg, a unique coastal town. Visited long ago by 'the elite' and that has never really changed. It has, however, become more so. Still, this area remains unique and this view beautiful. Behind the tower is construction. A new hotel, replacing an outdated one. It is not there yet. Will it change this view?
