I am fascinated and inspired by contemporary architecture. I abstract architectural elements into geometric planes, lines and conduits. By connecting these elements, I want to show that everything in the world is connected. A typical example for me is the electronic highway. The search for a balance between form and colour runs like a thread through my paintings. I work with geometric shapes and use bright and fresh colours in my paintings. I also use the pixel referring to the internet. My work is recognisable by a graphic visual language executed in a geometric style. I work with oil paint on canvas. Inspired by architecture, I create a geometric design, referring to contemporary social media. Everything is connected to everything.
